The Interventional Medicine Branch of Zhejiang Medical Association was established in December 2016 and serves as the core professional academic organization in the field of interventional medicine in Zhejiang Province. Since its inception, the branch has been committed to promoting the popularization, standardization, and innovation of interventional medicine within the province. Through a series of activities, including hosting annual academic conferences, organizing experts to provide technical guidance and free medical consultations at grassroots levels, and conducting public science education, the branch has effectively facilitated academic exchange and talent development. These efforts have helped align Zhejiang's interventional medicine practices with advanced domestic and international standards, making significant contributions to the improvement of regional healthcare services.

The Interventional Physicians Branch of Zhejiang Medical Doctor Association was established on June 9, 2023, serving as a crucial platform for the development and professional growth of interventional physicians in Zhejiang. The branch is dedicated to advancing interventional medicine through various activities, including organizing physician training, developing technical operation and diagnosis-treatment standards, and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. It aims to establish a comprehensive interventional treatment system with distinctive Zhejiang characteristics.

Wenzhou Medical University Fifth Affiliated Hospital (Lishui Central Hospital) began preparations in 1971, commenced operations in 1973, and was accredited as a Class A Tertiary Comprehensive Hospital in 2005. The hospital occupies a total floor area of 280,000 square meters with 2,057 open beds. In 2024, it handled 2.3678 million outpatient and emergency visits and discharged 104,300 patients. The hospital has received over 100 provincial-level and national honors, including the National May Day Labor Certificate, National Civilized Unit, Zhejiang Province's First Top Ten Hospital, and Zhejiang's benchmark hospital for "Dual Excellence in Institution/Department and Ethics/Medical Competence." It has consistently ranked in the top 5%-10% nationwide for six consecutive years in the National Performance Assessment of Tertiary Public Hospitals, achieving an A+ grade.

The China-Europe Scientists Forum is an international academic and technological exchange platform primarily focused on China and Europe. It was jointly initiated in 2013 by over 30 renowned scientists from countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Italy, and Spain, with participation from more than 70 scientific associations and institutions, predominantly from Germany, France, and China. Currently, it is a formally registered non-profit organization in Europe.
